Dear Student,
I am currently undertaking a music education research project towards a Doctor of Philosophy (Education) degree at The University of Western Australia. The information collected will be used to develop and design a classroom music course by incorporating your perspectives, which will caters for students in the Singapore neighbourhood lower secondary schools.
In this survey, I am interested to find out what you like or dislike about your compulsory music lessons in schools. I would also like to know what activities or topics you wish to have in your music lessons. There is no right or wrong answer to the questions. The survey will take no more than fifteen minutes to complete. Your contribution to this study is greatly appreciated.
Please refer to details in the Participant's Information Sheet. You do not have to answer this questionnaire. Please also be assured that your responses will be kept completely confidential and anonymous. Please fill up your name and email at the end of the questionnaire for any follow-up correspondence where necessary.
